Christine Smith is entering her 9th season as head coach of the Ramay Red Wolves. In her time as head coach, Smith has compiled a record of 120-23 with 2 conference championships (2019 and 2020) and 3 conference runner ups (2017, 2018 and 2022).

On July 1, 2016 Ramay Junior High named Christine Smith the head coach of the Red Wolves Girls Basketball program. Smith came to Ramay after one year as the head coach in Little Rock at the Arkansas School for the Deaf.

Prior to her year at the Arkansas School for the Deaf, Smith was a graduate assistant at her Alma Matter Lyon College in Batesville.

Coach Smith received a scholarship to play basketball and earned her undergraduate degree from Lyon College. She then went on to receive a master’s degree in sports administration from Arkansas State University. Smith also represented as a member of the USA Deaf Women’s Basketball team in international games including one Summer Olympic event and two World Championship events.
